After aging for three months in Iron Fish Maple Bourbon American Oak Kegs, this dark, rich, malty #stout takes on subtle notes of maple sugar, chocolate and vanilla-like notes from the oak barrels, along with smooth flavors. Once the barrels are emptied, they were sent back down the tracks to Iron Fish Distillery, where they refilled them with bourbon whiskey in order to produce their distinctively delicious Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Imperial Stout Casks.

Iron Fish sent some Maple Bourbon American Oak kegs on a round-trip to The Filling Station Microbrewery in Traverse City. They filled the kegs with Imperial Stout, then emptied and returned them to Iron Fish. Malt forward notes of cherry, dark chocolate and dried fruit. From the other side of the tracks to you – climb aboard and ride-along with our spirit.
