Will Run 4 Beer

We believe beer can play a role in an active lifestyle, both for its nutritive value, and for the strong sense of camaraderie that exists both in sport and craft beer.

Thanks to its water, carb and protein content, beer can aid in relaxing and rehydrating after a workout, or carbo-loading the day before a race. With hard work comes reward, and there’s no greater prize for completing that 5k than a cold one at the finish line.

Our friends over at RUNdetroit agree, so we teamed up for a special breakfast and beer event featuring Kusina, a Filipino food pop-up.

After completing a 3, 6, or 10 mile loop, the ravenous runners migrated to the shop and enjoyed a hearty breakfast served with their choice of beer or beermosa. The event was a great success, and we look forward to pouring beers for the running crew again soon!
